Nothing is written in English in the supermarket
product!!

On
my first weeks in Finland, I was in the supermarket to buy product but nothing
is written in English. I was really confused at the moment.
Interpret.
Maybe they think everybody
speak either Finnish of Swedish. Or they don’t like people that speak English.
Or maybe they assume that every one that lives in Finland should know the
language.
Evaluate
This is really a surprise
for me because in my country everything is written in French and English and
sometime others language but always English. I think it’s not really open for
people that don’t speak those language.
I choose this image but the firt time it happend I did not know what to do.
There is a funny thing that one time I went to supermarket to buy a pizza, and I want to know what ingredient in it, so I turn back the box and it written by at least ten languages but not English. So the good way is download a translate app to your phone and don't forget to take it with you when you go to supermarket.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the reason is that mostly products are made here, in Finland. It's not considered as an export so there is no need to translate it.
