D-I-E Christain Friendliness

Description:

After 2 weeks of my stay in Finland, one evening i was coming out of the library when i saw a young handsome gentle man with a young beautiful lady and the guy in his early thirties  looked directly at me and gave me the most welcoming and warmest smile i have ever had all my stay in Finland and i smiled back and they walk up to me saying they have the good news message for me from Jehovah's Witness. They invited me over on Sunday to the Jehovah witness hall which i went and that is the only place all my days here in Finland where i get to meet very loving, caring and concern people who interact and share with me freely despite our ethnicity or cultural boundaries. Little children run to touch me out of curiosity to find out about a black person and all i do is smile back which is very rare with other Finns or kids i get to meet everyday in this country.

Interpretation:

My point of view in this is that the real God fearing and Christian Finnish people are very welcoming, friendly, sociable, helpful, willing to learn than the ordinary Finns because this Christians to an extend practice the principles and the commandments in the bible which some how affects their behaviors positively towards other people than ordinary Finns because Christianity is all about living a communal life for Jesus Christ.

 Evaluation:

First things first, the guy (Jeff) who gave me the warm and friendly smile wasn't a Finnish but rather an American but his wife is Finnish. I can't be too critical to the ordinary Finnish people about their shy and conservative nature to other people because these are customs and traditions which has been practiced in ages by their ancestors so it has become customary but not all Finnish people are shy and conservative because i have some very sociable Finnish friends in Helsinki which my friend is married to one called Anna and she had once visited Cameroon.
