Hey ! Next to Halpa halli you can find the QR code from group 1. It is between the two Halpa halli buildings and in one side of the river that cross between.

Kokkola Tour
Welcome to Kokkola Tour!
Finnish Society and Culture class have made 10 educational videos about Finnish History from a national and local perspective. The first clip is about prehistoric time and the last is about Finland today.
- Past - 1000
- 1100-1722
- 1729-1803
- 1800-1849
- 1849-WW1
- WW1-Independence
- 1917-1938
- 1939-1940, 1941-1944
- 1944-1980
- 1980-now
The videos are inserted into QR codes that can be found in 10 different places in Kokkola. You need a QR code reader in order to see the videos. Please download beforehand. Remember to also bring your head phones.
The QR codes are now in place and the tour is open from 24.11 until 27.11.

9 Lesson on 21 November 2016
During what time period would you have liked to live?
We are now getting ready for Kokkola tour. We will do the QR-codes for the tour on Monday. You can already now talk with you group about where in Kokkola your QR code should be?
Here is what you need to do:
- Copy the link to your video
- The QR code is shown in the box on the right side.
- Copy the QR code on a document (word, onedrive etc.)
- Write the title under the QR code.
- Decide where in the center of Kokkola you want to put it.
- Insert QR code into plastic (laminate) and take it to its right place 21.11 sometime during the day/evening.
- Make sure it is in its place during the whole Kokkola Tour 22.11-27.11
- Go on tour! Watch all videos, look around and enjoy the fresh air.
- We’ll have a quizz about Kokkola Tour on 28.11.2016 (based on your questions)
Here is my colleague Lena Kalliokoski's presentation from FSC course 2015 on Finnish History, if you want to check some facts.
I can't wait to go on the tour :-)
We will also look into Finnish Society in tomorrows class and you will get an assignment to do for the next class on 28.11.2016. The assignment is found in the presentation.
See you on Monday at 8:00 in classroom 285.
