Hello Mates!
My name is Titimbe Berggren  studying Business Management full time at Centria UAS. I am from Cameroon  which is “Africa in miniature”, asserting that the country offers all the diversity of Africa—in climate, culture, and geography—within its borders. 

A University means universal learning not just based on academics but also about social life, ethics, globalization, time management etc so i didn't travel via continents to get here in Centria and back to my room everyday but rather to get to learn new things, language, culture about Finland and the Scandinavia.

Hello, my name is Annika and I am 24yo. I will be also one of your culture guides. :) I am from Kannus, it is a little town about 40km away from Kokkola, but I live in Kokkola. I study business, leadership and management in Centria. 

I love animals, so i have a one little dog. His name is Fred. He is 10 month old yorkie puppy.

In freetime I go gym, dance ballet, shopping, reading and playing with my dog. I also love food and travelling, so every year I travel ac much as I can. I am social person and love get know new persons. It would be nice to make new friends.

Hello there!

Late introduction (better late than never I guess).
My name is Kristina, I'm from tulip-rich The Netherlands and currently I study International Business Administration at Centria.

I'm interested in countries' cultures, especially Asian countries, arts, and music. I also love to design and create, particularly for ball joint dolls (BJDs).  

I'm not going to post a random selfie. Rather a picture of my design hobby.

Though I been living in Finland for a bit now, still learning a lot every day, and hoping to learn even more with this course. Perhaps also dismiss some of the already formed stereotypes about Finland and Finns.

Hi,

My name is Nadire Yimamu, I am from China and I am studying Business Management in Centria. I love cooking and baking，and like to do many kind of sports, especially outdoor sports. 

Even though I have been in Finland for almost two years, but I think culture is so big thing that we can not get all of it in a short time, so I still want to learn something I do not know about Finnish culture in this course.

My name is Paul Berastegui and I come from France.

I am currentelly a second-year business student and I study at ESCE university : school specialized in international business trade based in Paris.

My main leisure is to practice sport as football, rugby and Kick-Boxing. In particular I appreciate outdoor training. Moreover my real passion is the Surf. I work out every days during summer (sometime during Christmas Holidays) in Southwest of France.

My name is Oriol, but most of the people call me Uri. I am from the wonderful city of Barcelona, Spain. Currently I am studying my third year in Chemical Engineering in Spain. I decided to go to Finland because it is known to be one of the most developed countries in Europe with a very high educational level. My name is Shiva Bhandari. I am studying second year chemical engineering course in Centria University of Applied Sciences. I am from Nepal which lies in the Eastern Asia. Nepal is small but very beautiful with its land diversity and actually it is known by the world highest mountain Mount Everest (8848 m). Nepal is mutli-cultural society with different ethnics, languages, customs,culture and tradition. I expect to learn more about the finnish cultures, tradition and their society values and norms in this course. actually I am very excited to continue this course for my personal interest. And its been a year that I have been living in Finland. I spent my last winter in Kokkola and it was freaking cold and freezy but I spent my summer in Åland island which is very beautiful Island in between Sweden and Finland but it is the part of Finland. but most of them speak swedish language there. So, I have learnt Swedish as well if you want to talk with me in Swedish you are welcome.

I'm Francesco Borsari, I'm Italian and 23 years old. I will spend my time in Kokkola as an Erasmus exchanger till Christmas. I used to play football, but I'm a sporty person so I really enjoy every kind of sport, especially if it is practiced outside. I spent my entire life living in a city which is called Modena and even if it's not big, sometimes it appears polluted and crowded. The main reason why I come to Finland is to get a pause from the modern citylife-style and to get in contact with Nature. It will allow me to discover and appreciate it better, a new way of Life and to develop a more sustainable ethical value.

Blogging is to write about situations and topics from a contextual but also more personal point of view. Blogs are updated regularity and are usually open to the public. Blogs can be personal, but also open to groups.
Our blog is an educational blog, where we share knowledge and reflections and learn together from each other.


Blog posts in our blog should not be too long, but the posts need to stick to the topic and the questions.  Write in your own way, but with correct language and full sentences.

Reflection means to write about one's thoughts and opinions. Write your posts so that you use full sentences and correct language.

Ethics: Remember to respect others when writing in the blog. Writing about others in a negative manner is absolutely not allowed. When commenting others posts, write in an encouraging manner.
